Yes, most foreign nationals require a visa to enter China for medical treatment. We can provide a medical invitation letter to support your visa application. Depending on your nationality, you may apply for a medical visa (S2) or a tourist visa (L). We recommend applying at least 4-6 weeks before your planned travel date. Our team can guide you through the entire visa application process.

We accept international bank transfers (SWIFT), major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and Alipay International. For hospital payments, most major hospitals accept international credit cards. We can also assist with setting up WeChat Pay or Alipay for your convenience during your stay in China. Official international invoices are provided for all our services.

We take medical privacy extremely seriously. Our practices comply with GDPR (EU), Japan's Personal Information Protection Act, Middle East data protection regulations, and other international standards. All medical records are strictly confidential and only shared with authorized medical personnel. We use encrypted communication channels and secure document storage. You retain full control over your medical data at all times.

All our base packages include AI-powered smart translation glasses. These glasses provide real-time bidirectional translation in English, Japanese, Korean, German, and Arabic. Simply wear them during your medical consultations, and the glasses will translate conversations between you and your doctor instantly. They work offline as well as online, and are pre-configured with medical terminology for accurate translations. For complex medical discussions or sensitive diagnoses, you can upgrade to a professional human interpreter for an additional 10% on the base package price.

Yes. While AI Smart Translation Glasses are included in all base packages, you can upgrade to a dedicated professional human interpreter for an additional 10% surcharge on the base package price. Human interpreters are trained in medical terminology and are ideal for complex medical discussions, sensitive diagnoses, or if you simply prefer a human touch. You can also choose to have both — the glasses as backup and a human interpreter as your primary communication channel.

Our AI Smart Translation Glasses and human interpreters support English, Japanese, Korean, German, and Arabic. The glasses are pre-loaded with medical terminology databases for accurate healthcare translations. For languages beyond these five, we can arrange human interpreters through our partner network with advance notice. All translation services are provided in real-time during medical consultations and procedures.

Through our partner hospitals' green channel, we can typically arrange specialist appointments within 3-7 business days, compared to the normal waiting time of 2-4 weeks. For urgent cases, we can often secure appointments within 24-48 hours. The exact timeline depends on the specialist's availability and your specific medical needs. We recommend contacting us as early as possible to ensure smooth scheduling.

Yes, we can recommend and assist with booking hotels near your hospital. We work with a range of hotels from budget-friendly to luxury international chains, all located within convenient distance to major hospitals in Shanghai. Many hotels offer special rates for medical travelers. We can also assist with serviced apartments for extended stays of one month or longer.

Our service fees cover our medical escort, interpretation, personal care, and coordination services. Hospital fees (registration, consultation, tests, medications, surgery, hospitalization) are separate and paid directly to the hospital. Transportation, hotel, and meals are also paid by the client. We provide clear, upfront pricing for our services with no hidden charges. Hospital costs are typically 30-50% lower than in Western countries.

We are not an emergency medical service. In case of a medical emergency, please call 120 (China's emergency number). However, we can assist with urgent (non-emergency) medical situations and can typically arrange same-day or next-day appointments for urgent cases. For planned major treatments, we recommend contacting us at least 2-4 weeks in advance.

We can accommodate extended stays easily. Simply inform us as early as possible, and we will adjust your care plan, extend accommodation bookings, and help with visa extension if needed. Our custom packages offer flexible pricing for extended durations. We understand that medical needs can change, and we are committed to supporting you throughout your treatment journey.

We provide medical escort, translation, and personal care coordination services only. We do NOT provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. All medical decisions, diagnoses, and treatments are provided by licensed physicians at our partner hospitals. Our role is to facilitate your medical journey by removing language barriers, handling logistics, and providing personal care support.
